About Me

topazmoon designs
I have been making jewellery since October 2003. It all happened quite by accident because I was looking to buy a necklace in just the right shade of blue but couldn't find one. I did however find the right beads for sale on the most popular auction site on the internet and won the bid. I made my necklace and wore it to the office one day and the rest, as they say is history. I am mostly self taught but have picked up a few techniques here and there from fellow jewellery makers and from the hobby magazines that cater to us. I source my beads and materials from everywhere and anywhere and travel to Hong Kong a couple of times a year for a lot of it. My designs are original and I rarely duplicate - except for earring designs. Most of the time I just make what I like to wear myself but I take a lot of custom orders. If you like any of what you see I would be thrilled if you left a comment. You can also contact me directly: carole.noman@gmail.com
